Woman's Day Magazine - Aug 2019 Shortly after I launched Ivy Trove I was asked to create a 2 page article on 'Make your own Macrame Hanger'. Whuuutt?? This was well before my DIY kit days and gosh how different it would be now if I got the chance. Such an incredible experience so early on! NAIDOC Festival UQ University - Aug 2019 I was invited by the Diversity and Inclusion department to host the Yarn and Yarn activation. We created 2 huge pieces where anyone attending the festival could come and add a few knots to the installations. I then took both unfinished pieces home and improvised the completion of the wall hangings based on what had already been knotted. An epic challenge to say the least and they proudly hang in the Diversity and Inclusion department at Brisbane UQ! Brisbane Botanica Festival - Oct 2021 I got invited to host an incredible collaborative art project alongside Georgia Hillas, the creative spark behind the idea 'Aim Higher'! It was originally in 2020 but sadly c-vid restrictions cancelled it. Georgia tirelessly strung up each Netball hoop in different colours then I taught 23 woman how to create the knots then it was choose your own adventure from there as I guided everyone through their sections. The results were unbelievable! Once the unique creations were completed they were dipped in neon paint for the 'wow factor' at night and hung at all different heights on the Circle of Tall Palms. This fun and interactive project was an amazing success which allowed people to shoot hoops at all different levels as well as admire the stunning handmade pieces hanging up in their glory! There's a peak on the Brisbane City Youtube channel too! Ravenswood Woman in Art Campaign LEAF Festival Child Care centre events Allied Health Alfred Health Koala Eco photoshoot I was commissioned to create a design completely from free flow and personal style based on seeing photos of the beautiful eclectic Bed & Breakfast lodge called Noosa Hinterland Escape in Black Mountain. This was the Koala Eco photoshoot location and where this unique piece now comfortably lives! SHIPPING, RETURNS, WORKSHOP RESCHEDULES & CANCELLATIONS Private Workshops Public Workshop Reschedule Policy Refund Policy - We do not offer refunds on Workshop tickets after purchase however a full storewide credit will be issued if you need to reschedule up until 72 hours prior to your booked Workshop date. 25% loss of ticket fees if cancelled within 72 hours before your booked date. This helps towards venue hire, loss of ticket sales, purchased materials, pre purchased catering and admin fees. The remainder will go towards a store credit for you to use at any time. If in the instance we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or store credit will be offered. Learn how Never Alone Collective carries Paul’s legacy forward through compassion-led initiatives, community connection and meaningful acts of care. In honour and loving memory of our dear Paul Gaskill 02.02.1994 - 07.11.2025 May your light, love for life and legacy live on through us all. Paul lived with heart, humour, and a deep connection to the people around him. He showed up for others with warmth, generosity, and an instinctive kindness that made people feel seen. A beloved son, brother, friend, and ally, Paul died aged just 31 in Brisbane on 7th November 2025, following a traumatic brain injury caused by an e-scooter accident. Our hearts are broken — but we refuse to let Paul’s story end here. His legacy lives on through the love he gave, the community he built, and the care that now continues in his name. This is not about loss alone — it is about what continues on. Carrying Paul’s Legacy Forward Paul’s family have established a charitable trust in his memory, using Paul’s inheritance to support meaningful causes every year on his birthday — 2nd February — in Nottinghamshire and Brisbane. From 2026 onwards, Paul’s Trust will give annually to initiatives grounded in compassion, care, and connection. This work has already begun. Through the Never Alone Collective, handmade infinity bracelets are being gifted to end-of-life patients in both Brisbane and Nottinghamshire — a small, tangible reminder that no one is ever alone. Your support helps this legacy grow gently and meaningfully, ensuring Paul’s kindness continues to ripple outward — not just remembered, but lived.
