Macramé Bottle Holder
These beautiful handmade pieces are made with a lot of love and care!
Like any kind of wearable fibre art, a little bit of maintenance will help with the longevity of your item.
As it is made with recyled cotton cord, it is a strong fibre that will last a loonngg while if treated properly and can easily withstand regular use.
A few tips to help out;
- If you accidentally loosen some of the knots, easiest fix is to just hang it up straight so the weight of the cords are going down. Grab the cords that need adjusting and gently pull each cord together (or as you need to) until the knot is back to it's normal looking self then just make sure the knot is firmly back in place before using again. Any issues, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
- If your bottle holder gets wet, don't stress just let it dry out properly once you're finished using it so it doesn't go mouldy or yucky
- If you get it dirty, I would recommend to handwash in warm soapy water only. The washing machine might be a little too chaotic for the twisted fibres resulting in a knotted frizzly mess
- If you want to change up the look, I looovve using the twisted cord because it gives you the option to untwist the 3 lots for a wavy vibe, brush it out for a frayed tail or comb it (pet comb recommend - new or not new is up to you haha) to get the full fluffy frayed look. Add some beads, dye some bits or the whole thing!
